Stuck in the Virus Life

Well here we are folks, you that are reading this and me doing the typing. The world has come to a stop, at least economically, until the virus situation clears up. I have been pondering what the future will be like and why this started in the first place and have come up with some unorthodox answers:

1. This virus is an attempt by the Earth to slow the pollution and corruption of its body. The scientist Dr. James Lovelock wrote a fascinating book called GAIA,  about the Earth as a living organism. I heartily agree with his thesis and am claiming that the Earth is releasing this mechanism on the world to let it "breathe" more freely. It is the ultimate irony if not revenge. If humans are making the entire planet difficult to breathe then let them get a dose of their own behavior. Give these educated monkeys a taste of their own crushing behavior by letting them die off by not being able to breathe.

2. We are moving forward at warp speed to disaster if we don't respect the environment that exists around us creatures. The next virus will be the big one. And its coming from Siberia or Montana. In the age before humans walked this earth, there were plagues and viruses that haunted the dinosaurs and are now frozen inside their bones. These are the viruses that have been frozen for at least 65 million years. The warming of the Earth will unleash all these little critters into the atmosphere. And when they are released in the next coming years, they will jump from a reptile to a human. Something will mutate and that will be all folks!

Make out your will. Not for tomorrow but for the next 5 to 10 years when this happens.
